Dream Journals

We each got a dream journal at The Scene tonight.  As Gary Thomas says in Sacred Pathways:

“The idea of God speaking through a dream coincides with the nature of God. He is always pursuing us, speaking to us even while we sleep, giving evidence of his infinite and unlimited nature as opposed to our finite and limited existence. God has much to say to us . . .” (p. 156)

We are all challenged this month to keep a dream journal and see what God may be speaking to us.  We’ll talk about it at The Scene.  Post your dreams and what you think of them here!  Remember, dreams can be our subconscience mind working itself out, messages not from God, and the voice of God speaking to us.  God’s voice never contradicts Biblical truths.

I challenge you to be open to dreaming.

Love Letters

At The Scene tonight we talked about the Enthusiast and the Contemplatives from Sacred Pathways.  We spent some time writing letters to God or poems.  Letters of love, thanksgiving, adoration, questions, etc.  We also spent some time listening to God’s response.  Post your letters here and what God has been speaking to you in return.

Broke Show WAS awesome!

I called it weeks ago, the show was great. All elements were great, spoken word, dance, acting, all good. And the crew, although a bit small at times, was great as well.
I can’t comment on everything that went on, but I have to mention a few things. First, if you need help on ANYTHING, call Eric, ’cause I’m pretty sure he ran a little bit of everything over the course of the show. And second, I found out how Kevin is always so cool and calm no matter what the situation. He has a personal fan in the “bat cave”!! This explains the wind blown hair (I thought he came on a motorcycle).
Anyway, great show everybody, see you at the scene, tell your friends!
